The Caps might not have won the game, but they had every chance to get a result thanks to Crépeau’s heroics between the sticks. Still, keepers rarely can both stand on their heads and score goals. Can we talk about how much we’re missing Reyna right now? Yes?
We’re missing Reyna right now. Good talk. And to add injury to all the other injuries, Bizzaro World Reyna (aka Bangoura) is out of the lineup with a bad ham sandwich or something. I’m not a doctor, okay? Whatever it was that’s got Lass on the injury list doesn’t seem to be serious but will keep him out of Saturday’s match. We’re looking thin in the attacking positions right now.
The Good News™ is that SKC is currently also suffering from a heavily injured squad, seemingly worse than the Whitecaps, and is also having a middlin’ to poor start to their season. The Whitecaps don’t have to be giant slayers to grab some points on Saturday, they can probably get away with being run-of-the-mill murderers*.
